There are many different ways through which contractors can find work for themselves. Just make sure to keep writing. Once the content is written make sure to post it to all your available social networks. Post the content and then ask engaging questions around the content topic to engage potential followers.

The next simple thing to do with your video cover letter is to create your own video sitemap. There are a lot of video sitemap plug-ins for WordPress that can easily do this for you. The video sitemap will help you video get indexed by Google. A few things to remember is when you’re embedding the video make sure to set it up around an <object> tag rather than an <iframe>. Google can’t crawl iframes efficiently. By setting up the video sitemap this way you should see a thumbnail image next to your page or post of the video. This thumbnail will greater increase the click through rate of your page since it draws a lot more attention on the Google search engine result page. The last thing is to do some very simple search engine optimization. Don’t worry this won’t be painful. Search online for guest blog post opportunities and write some good content for other peoples sites for a link back to yours. If you’re trying to rank for the keyword “hotdog” then make sure your anchor texts pointing back to your site have the word “hotdog” in them. This is really simple and you can build relationships with other website owners. Building these relationships helps you socially to spread content, drive traffic back to your site, and build quality, natural links back to your site.
